Kogi Professionals Network (KPN) is Felicitating with Muslims on the successful completion of the 30 day Ramadan fast and the celebration of the Eid El Fitr,
The convener and president of the group, Dr James Odaudu, in a press release made available to Market Hub Media, congratulates all the Muslim faithfuls in Nigeria and Kogi State in particular for staying true to the spirit of the period.
“As we pray for their good deeds, petitions and supplications to be accepted by the Almighty Allah (SAW), we also remind them that the nation, and by extension, Kogi State, needs constant spiritual intervention to overcome the political, spiritual and security challenges currently plaguing the polity.
This need has become very paramount, given that the State is passing through a period of selections and elections of a new set of leaders in whose hands the destiny of the over five million Kogites will be thrusted”.
He therefore request the Christians to join their Muslim brothers and sisters in praying and working for the emergence of leaders with capacity and undiluted commitment to the welfare of the people and overall development of the state.
“We also enjoin Kogites, irrespective of their ethnic, political and religious backgrounds, to join hands in ensuring that the bigotries that have held the state down from inception are removed henceforth by supporting only those that have the zeal and patriotic disposition to the development of the state”.

Lady Nkeiru Ibekwe, is the only woman-politician, i have seen, within our clime, with an extraordinary courage and indomitable confidence in her capacity and ability to drive and fund her political interest herself, decently, a feat, her male counterparts in same race, could not attempt.
While, some have opened Fund-Raising accounts and loan-obtaining processes, to bankroll their primaries, Nkeiru, has remained resolute and doggedly on with all needed politicking processes on her own. Capacity is power!
Quite frankly, Okigwe North Federal Constituency, comprising of Okigwe, Onuimo and Isiala Mbano LGAs, has undergone colossal deprivation of socio-economic concerns and infrastructural development, yet God has continued to preserve His people.
Ideally, legislative representation revolves round proactive and guided pursuit, towards adding value to the peoples’ life, by ensuring, government uses our collective patrimony to solve the peoples’ problems. And very frankly, life and times have perfectly shaped Lady Nkeiru for this passionate task.

Kogi PDP Chieftain, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Idris congratulated Muslim Faithfuls for witnessing another end of Ramadan. He made this call in a Sallah felicitation message to Muslim ummah in Kogi State. “I give thanks to Allah for giving us another opportunity to witness this year’s Ramadan. I also give thanks to Allah for making it possible for us to see the end of the Ramadan,” he said. He used the opportunity to equally urge all Muslim brothers and sisters across Nigeria to continue to uphold the tenets of sacrifice. “I pray that Allah accepts our prayers and sacrifices during this period. Amin. Happy Eid celebration to you and your family!” he further added.

Popular Kogi Politician and 2019 Governorship aspirant, Abubakar Ibrahim Idris has urged Christians faithfuls in Kogi State and across Nigeria to eschew violence and embrace peace during the Easter celebration.
Idris, in his message, through his media office, enjoined Christians to use this period marking the end of the Lenten season to pray for the country especially as it tackles various security challenges “‘at this point in time, we all need to be our brother’s keeper, eschew violence and work together to make the country safe for everyone, we just don’t have any option to peace””,Idris said.
Dr Abubakar admonished Faithful to embrace and imbibe the profound doctrine and attributes of JESUS CHRIST as enshrined in the Holy Bible.
He prayed for peace,love, understanding, and forgiveness that Christ professed on the cross, while wishing Faithfuls a happy Easter celebration
